LA got abused inside, three players on denver's team had at least 13 rebounds.
LA came out flat, and denver took it to them.
tied at 2, its a best of four series now, gotta win one in LA
Best of 3, actually.
Even through the roughneck stuff that went on last night on the inside, the Lakers need to learn that they can throw the ball down low to Bynum or Gasol (esp. Bynum), and get a good shot. Kobe needs to remember that the two-man game w/Shaq is what brought him titles--use Gasol/Bynum the same way because they are viable offensive post threats that will break down that defense. Passing until Vujacic/Brown/Ariza/etc. has an open 3 isn't gonna cut it, especially when they're all as cold as they were last night.
By the way--if Paul Pierce is the biggest whiner in the league, then JR Smith is the biggest poser in the league. Fargin annoying...look at me, I made a 3, let me stop & stare at the crowd for 5 seconds while the other team goes back up the floor. I dunked the ball--let me beat on my chest and yell MF'er at the top of my lungs while my teammates defend the 5 on 4 coming back the other way. It's one thing to have fun playing basketball, it's another one to make a play and not act like you've been there before, like a professional should. I could understand if all of his plays were made in big moments...but give us all a break. This isn't the JR Smith show--it's NBA playoff basketball, and you're a Denver Nugget. Act like a pro.
Cant disagree with much of that. I have been wanting to see more of Bynum and last night he showed nice footwork and touch when posting up with the ball. It would be good for him and Gasol by giving Gasol more breaks early in the game. Hopefully Ariza isn't too banged up. I wish Odom would man up and play to the top of his game, but play offensively and defensively like Luke Walton. Odom has more tools and atheleticsim, but Walton has more heart.
I was thinking foul Lebron on purpose. Lets see if he makes them pay.
Just enough.
Go Magic!!!!
we are all WITNESSES.
how can you take shots at lebron??
hes the only reason cleveland has been close
he was a long three away from winning another game at the buzzer.
its not lebrons fault his team is choking hardcore and letting orlando hit 20 three's a game.
we are WITNESS to the greatest player in the NBA struggle because his team cant play perimeter defense.
42 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists.
yall can make fun of burton all you want, but dont try and discount lebron's greatness.
kobe's team, the team that was supposed to just waltz into the finals now that bynum is healthy, is in a dogfight that they can lose, esp if they dont win tonight.
LeBron will never win a title in Cleveland. I'd be looking for the first plane out so to speak and chase a ring somewhere else. I can't understand these LeBron haters. How many times do you see a kid get hyped only to go tits up? LeBron's first year and he was the king of nothing but the airball. He worked his arse off and has become as good a player at very LEAST as anybody in the league. Don't hate-appreciate. Without him,Cleveland wouldn't even be a playoff caliber team (much like the Lakers with Kobe). He does as much for his team as MJ did with the Bulls (and MJ had some great players around him).
